The isol command will solve an equation for a variable.

The first step to solving an equation is to simply enter the equation onto the stack, this is done with the equation editor, once the equation is on the stack you simply need to enter you wish to solve for onto the stack, then type in alpha alpha and then isol. Then with luck you will find the equation solved for the variable that you wanted.
